Update: 2017-09-05     Source: lifeofguangzhou

The fourth Guangdong 21st Century Maritime Silk Road International Expo will be held in Dongguan from September 21 to September 24. According to the organizer, 1,682 enterprises from China and 54 foreign countries and regions will attend, which will be arranged in 3,556 booths, outnumbering that of last year by 56. In addition, Iran, Romania, Russia and Mongolia are first-time exhibitors and will set up national-themed pavilions.
The expo, with its exhibition area expanded from last year's 70,000 square meters to 100,000 square meters, will continue adopting the mode of “1+6,” namely, one themed exhibition and six specialized exhibitions. The themed exhibition is divided into three areas: business and exchange, information technology products and cross-boarder e-commerce logistics. The six specialized exhibitions will feature travel culture of the Maritime Silk Road, special food and agricultural produce of the Maritime Silk Road, international decorative materials and machinery, international tea culture, international ceramics culture as well as international silk culture.

To promote the expo, the organizer launched 20 promotional campaigns in 10 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East to attract more enterprises to participate. With these efforts, the expo signed cooperative agreements with multiple business associations from various countries, such as Italy, South Africa, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Iran and Vietnam.
